Hi, I’m Shay 

Life in Balance Head Coach

I’m the type of girl who loves a good Caesar salad, but also won’t pass up French fries on date night or a spicy margarita at happy hour. I guess when it comes down to it I’m just a girl who wants to look & feel her best, achieve her goals, and enjoy life while doing it. 

But I haven’t always had this type of balance with my nutrition or confidence in my body… For years, I was stuck in a cycle of restriction during the week, going overboard on the weekends, feeling guilty for eating “bad” foods, and constantly pushing myself to the limit with cardio to make up for my indulgences.

It wasn’t until I started implementing more balance into my diet, exercise routine and mindset that I truly started to see my body (and life) transform. I began tracking my macros, doing strength training to sculpt my body and letting go of perfection and short timelines in place of consistency and a lifestyle change. 

Now I spend my days helping women achieve their goals using the same balanced fat loss strategy I did - and I’d love to help you too!

Believe it or not, Tracey started out as a client in this exact Life in Balance program in September of 2020. She was an avid calorie restrictor, fad diet jumper, cardio bunny, HIIT class connoisseur and was feeling beyond frustrated by her lack of results given all her efforts. 

Through Life in Balance she gave up the “quick fixes”, tracked her daily food intake, incorporated more strength training while pulling back on the high-intensity exercise and learned how to enjoy her date nights, weekly family dinners and vacations in a balanced way while still making incredible progress. 

The balanced lifestyle and amazing body composition changes she achieved were so life-changing, she decided to get certified as a nutrition coach and come on board to help teach other women this exact process. She’s been through it herself and that’s exactly why she is uniquely fit to help our LIB members do the same!

We take a “flexible tracking” approach - tracking protein and calories only instead of all 3 macros - which helps ensure you’re eating in a way that ladders up to your goal yet provides you an abundance of flexibility with your food choices.

  • Nope! Here we believe that there are no “bad” foods. The only time you will need to avoid or omit a certain food is if you are allergic to it, have an intolerance to it, or if you simply don’t like the taste :)

  • Awesome for you! We have lots of clients who choose to continue doing their own workouts - and you can too. The vast majority of this program is centered on nutrition education and habit change, so you’ll still get the benefit of the program.
